Our time away has not gone quickly but the last few days flew... We travelled by bus from La Paz to Copacabana, 5 hours, which included a bus ferry and small boat ride across Lake Titicaca... gorgeous... then another bus to Peru, 5 hours to Puno where we ate and slept. In the morning, another bus to Cuzco, 8 hours... we ate and then grabbed the overnight bus to Lima... 18 hours...arriving around 2pm. Phew! When we arrived at Lima we were so exhausted that we went straight to the airport with no energy to look around Lima... Our flight wasn't until 11.45pm so we washed in the toilets... (much to the dismay of one loo attendant in the ladies... but jungle girl had to wash!) Had food and talked about our homecoming... Once in Houston we had a 10 hour wait until our flight back to London, it was around 7.30am so James booked hotel and we ended up in our own suite with luxuries we couldn't quite believe... e.g. hairdryer! TV! huge bed! and even a walk in shower with 3 showers in it... suffice to say we blasted them all and thouroughly enjoyed!!! Flew back around 4.30pm to arrive Heathrow at 12.30am... but we lost the night as local time was 6.30am...
Such a strange feeling to be in England... James having to drive... speaking English... people who don't smile... we not have the blues but we don't want to be home yet...
Then we slept... and slept... The house has been totally looked after by Jazzie (thankyou...xx) and a new member to the household of Harvi the hamster... quite the strangest hamster we have ever met... x And thanks to Bobby for looking after Jazzie. xx. We went to the veggies... Oh my goodness!!! Huge.... amazing... although of course some have gone to seed... Wendy missed; Jazzie and marmite ... James missed; nothing...
So weird to do normal, everyday things... putting our own kettle on... realising how much stuff we have... It's quite overwhelming to be honest after living out of a bag on our backs for the last 7 weeks. We have spent the last 2 days chilling out for the inevitable of everyday life catching up with us.. Arse! (James the jobless)

Glad you're home safe - welcome home. Must be very strange. Now a new reality kicks in.........Never mind, there's next year around the corner. You are more adventurous than I would want to be though! I think we might go back to Cromer :)
